One really bad result of waiting too long to write posts is that I tend to forget things like the date, etc.  Thank goodness, the ticket had the date on it so I can say it was the first weekend in September that Peggy, Margie, Penny and I all got together again.  Peggy had reserved some tickets for The Piano Guys at Thanksgiving Point for us and we were more than ready for another Sweet Sister's Retreat.

We met up at Peggy's place on Friday night August 31 and Margie shared her new nail kit with all of us.  Now we are all are totally addicted to nice new nails that we can do ourselves.  Thank you Margie!!
Margie, Penny and I all slept in the large family room upstairs and that night we watched an amazing thunderstorm for over an hour. The whole room would light up as lightening lite up the sky.  It went on and on and seemed like it was surrounding the whole house because one minute it would come through the east window and then it would come from the south or the west side.  It was really wonderful to watch.
Saturday morning we had breakfast together and visited with Afton and the girls.
I think Margie may have some other pictures we can add later (along with any corrections the others offer).
We visited for a long time and then headed out for dinner.  We ate at (oops, I forgot what it's called) but it was really good.  Then we went to Walmart and got some warm clothes for the evening at Thanksgiving Point.  It had been raining and thundering off and on all afternoon so we didn't know what we were in store for at the concert.
After we were all ready we headed over and got our places on the lawn.  We laid down blankets and then more blankets.  We had a couple of lawn chairs so two of us were in chairs and two on the blankets.  Peggy and I were so grateful for our new "raincoats".
They were warm and kept the wet out.
It was cold and rainy but it was awesome.  The thunder and lightening were all around us again.  It was just as fun the second night.

The concert was amazing and we loved all the music and entertainment.  It was just so fun to be together again.
We spend another night at Peggys and then made our way home again.  Penny rode with me to Logan and then I came on home, too.
It just doesn't get any better than Sweet Sister Retreat Time.
Love you all!
